Gary Oldman is an English actor and filmmaker known for his diverse and celebrated career. Born in 1958 in New Cross, London, Oldman began his acting journey at the Young People's Theatre in Greenwich. After training at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, he made his film debut in the 1982 British ensemble drama Remembrance.
