Chris Jordan Returns to TKR as CPL 2024 Home Leg Begins on Wednesday

CPL 2024 Home Leg Kicks Off Wednesday

The highly anticipated CPL 2024 home leg is set to commence on Wednesday, August 2, with defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) taking on the Jamaica Tallawahs at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

TKR will be bolstered by the return of experienced English pacer Chris Jordan, who has been a key member of the franchise in previous seasons.

Jordan's Return a Boost for TKR

Jordan's return is a significant boost for TKR, as he brings a wealth of experience and skill to the team.

The 34-year-old has represented England in 78 T20Is and has played in various T20 leagues around the world.

His ability to bowl at various stages of the innings and his impressive economy rate make him a valuable asset to any team.

TKR Aim to Retain Title

TKR will be aiming to retain their CPL title after a successful campaign in 2023, where they defeated the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final.

The team boasts a strong squad, including the likes of Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, and Nicholas Pooran.

With Jordan's addition, TKR will be confident in their chances of defending their crown.

CPL 2024 Home Leg Schedule

The CPL 2024 home leg will run from August 2 to September 16, with matches taking place in Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, Guyana, and Barbados.

A total of 33 matches will be played, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs.

The final will be held at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago on September 16.
